+ Why hire a coach?
You’re smart and capable, which means that hiring a coach will help you organize your priorities, streamline your process and get you “there” faster. As a coach, I’m a partner in mapping your journey and have specialized tools and resources ready. I ask questions that open new windows for consideration and add my experience to yours so that exponentially you can move more quickly and efficiently.
"I believe this experience has brought me back to myself. As I adjust and face challenges, I feel I have a “process” I can work with, where in the past I just felt stuck. This has changed my whole life. I don’t know where I would be without this experience...I certainly wouldn’t be here." - Client who needed to find the confident person she had once been
+ What makes RR different?
I’m results oriented, ambitious and realistic in helping you to identify opportunities and confront obstacles. My best work is with smart, capable clients who are determined to create more good and have significant impact. We do this with methodical strategy, motivational, concentrated sessions where we focus on your values, strengths and breakthroughs. Plus, it’s fun and my clients leave every session feeling clear and untangled.
"Ramsay is calm and kind. She listens well and helps to pick out key words and thoughts that we discuss, leading to “ah-ha” moments. This assisted me in keeping my focus and direction to move forward and accomplish all of my targets on time and/or ahead of time." - International animal rights and East Africa specialist, working to redefine her professional focus
+ How long does coaching take?
A few hours for a specific task, or several months for a job search, career adjustment or other significant work goals. I love being efficient. I hate wasting time. I am good at cutting through the weeds to get to the right things and I’m a great accountability partner. Another reality to consider is that in the current employment environment, most people will change jobs every two to five years – investing in the process and tools that you’ll learn with me will be useful again and again.
"I learned a lot about myself and Ramsay had great resources that were so helpful to me. I now have tools that I can carry with me, not matter what role I find myself in during my life"

+ What does coaching cost?
First, let me say – you’re worth the investment. Secondly, it costs less than you think. I design each coaching engagement to fit the specific client, which means the cost is based on estimated hours, external resources and crafted exercises. Most engagements last two to six months. I bill 50% as our work starts and the balance at the halfway point. This way, my clients and I can be sure that our work is valuable and effective. Get in touch and I am glad to give you an estimate for a series of work or in some cases we can work hourly on a specific project (video interviews, for example.)
"Ramsay helped me brainstorm my way out of several corners by offering up ideas and specific resources that I would never have encountered on my own. So worthwhile!"
+ What’s all of this talk about good?
Good is a powerful four-letter word. It means something different to each of my clients: from making the internet safer, to helping bring rapid virus tests to corners of the globe, helping immigrants navigate the legal system, to making films to help customers explain their product, one client teachers High School English, one is determined to bring libraries to underserved communities…and the list goes on. The consistent theme is that my clients and I all want to make a difference – it’s part of why we work so well together. If this resonates with you, let’s talk.
"I had so much I wanted to do to make a difference, but couldn’t take a step. Ramsay helped me to pull myself out of a negative hole. The steps we planned, led to big changes and then I was able to see how to reach my goals" - Client who keeps uncovering more of what is important to her and other

+ What’s different about your work with recent college graduates?
College grads are smart, ready and willing to work hard in “the real world”. But, universities, society and parents haven’t made it simple to acquire the tools to learn how to cross the bridge from school to work. I support my clients in their twenties so that you figure out professional paths to match your skills, understand how to network, how to interview, how to adapt cover letters and resumes for each opportunity. I help to empower you and act as an accountability partner as you plot your next chapter. Plus, in this covid economy, having a partner to tackle a tough employment scene is even more helpful.
"It doesn’t matter if someone is just beginning to think about where they are going in their career, of if they know exactly where they want to go, but don’t know how to get there, Ramsay provides a helping hand and support. Ramsay is understanding, inquisitive and overall really fun to work with. We were accomplishing hard work, but it didn’t feel like it. It felt like an entertaining collaboration and that’s a unique value.” - 20-something North Carolinian who was ready to find a career path that she could love and be proud of
